Dell XPS 17 Replacement

I've got an XPS 17 l702x and I love it but it's starting to show it's age when it comes to my work (which is video editing and photo editing). I need to replace it with something that can handle 4K 30fps and 1080P 120/60fps editing. I've been sniffing around the XPS range on Dell's site but it's 2000 for the XPS 15.

Is there anything anyone else knows of that I can upgrade to or am I going to go the desktop route?

I didn't mean to create 3 threads... can someone clean that up?

Would you consider waiting for the 6th gen intels to filter down? Could get a bargain on the 4th or 5th gens.
