Can anyone recommend a receiver?

Some help would be appreciated, I need a satellite receiver with RF Out.

Other features I require are at least 1 CI slot and 1 smart card reader, it will need to work 2 satellites (Astra and Hotbird) and Saorview (not worried about teletext)

Any suggestions? I don't want to have to buy an external rf modulator, as other half has issues with more cables.

    Thanks in advance

    I'm open to either tbh.

To be honest I dont know why I even asked the question! The Linux boxes dont have the RF mod.

Have a look at the IceCrypt S3700CHD. Not too sure about the card readers.

Because you are insistent on the RF Modulator, your box selection is limited. I am sure you dont want a Technomate model from years ago!

Check out the Xtrend models, hubtech make those also, but I think they have dropped the modulator with the Linux models.

Technomate 5402 - I think has an RF

If not why not use a scart adaptor to RF?

    No DVB-T tuner though.

Because any RF modulator I've seen has to be plugged in. Not sure I'm going to get away with more cables.

    http://www.technomate.com/products/TM%252d5402-HD-M3.html

    It has an RF Modulator.

Not sure by what you mean about being plugged in?

I meant the scart to rf adaptors have to be plugged in separately to the mains.

Thanks, but I dont think that Technomate has a DVB-T
