    Yes, Bank of Ireland would use an intermediary bank to process transfers to America. Just to mention, international transfer may be subject to intermediary bank charges. These charges are deducted from the amount received by the payee, by both the intermediary bank and the payee's bank itself. The charges relate to their role in transmitting and processing the payment and can vary. For more information in relation to international transfers on 365Online please see this link
