Engine swap and nct?

    basically quick question for all of ye? i plan on converting my e36 to diesel (more specifically an e46 330d engine)
    do any of ye know will it cause an issue on nct as I'm converting petrol to diesel

    I'd imagine it would raise a few eyebrows alright when they go to do the petrol emissions test. :D

    You need to notify Shannon who in turn notifies nct.
    I assume it's RF111 and change fuel type. You might want to ring Shannon and check though.

    Have you a main dealer lined up to sign off on the paperwork?

    Yes because the tax office won't accept anything but a main dealer stamp

    Anyway, friend of mine had a petrol Golf converted to diesel and he just told them in the NCT centre and there was no bother
