Anyone else doing this in the morning? I'm looking at the weather forecast and hoping the worst of the rain passed by then, but it would be quite nice to have a small peloton as it looks like it might be a bit windy going down the coast.

Looks like theres about 35 entered. I'll be on one of the controls, out of the rain :)

35 is good, should make the coastal winds/gales a bit more bearable.

Have to say I was blown away by the food on this one, and fair play to Paul and the others for driving to the middle of nowhere with the food, water, 7-up etc and staying there for ages. The control just past Hacketstown was interesting. I went into the hall and it was empty, it kind of reminded me of the scene from Goodfellas where the Joe Pesci character goes in thinking he was about to be 'made', only to find an empty room; he then gets shot to death. It was nice so to find a bunch of fellow audaxers in the room behind the hall having a fabulous meal.
