Truativ crank removal

    Anybody got any tips for removing one of these cranks? I have a large allen key (8mm I think) in the non drive side but it wont budge. I might need to put a pipe over it to extend the leverage. Bike is a Boardman comp that I want to strip and repaint

    most likely it was loctite'd...
    yep..bigger ratchet or allen wrench and swing out of it!
