Hi. Try this web. www.rialta.ie. They are in Rathcoole, Co Dublin. Little tip when you get tank. The blue tanks you have are uv protected by the tank colour. The ibc is a clear plastic and not uv protected. So when you get your tank. Take it out of the cage and get some 1200g black polythene to wrap tank. Put polythene out on lawn, take lid off tank and put it lid down on polythene, then wrap it like a present and use black duct tape. when wrapped tuen up take and cut access hole to tank. Now your uv protected.

Made a disused wheelie bin into a water butt with a gutter I attached to my shed - after last night it was half full (from empty) - too successful!

    Hi Folks

I'm looking into water butt options atm. Have similar prob to someone in another thread as i'm in a semi-detached house with all the downpipes on the other house... but I think i have a neat solution: add some guttering to my shed and a water butt behind it (between shed and oil tank).
Ideally this would be up high - a horizontal water butt with a tap with a hose connector...

My question is... Would there be a problem if I was to use a covered water tank which would normally be found in an attic? (found a new one online 150L for 100EUR)

(p.s. I realise that this is an old thread but I can't appear to create a new thread - probably cos of noobness)
