    It has merits, if not abused.

    There will be reasonable examples.

    And there will be reasonable employees and employers who can come to a mutually agreed and reasonable agreement.

    It will just make some unscrupulous employers think twice about taking the p!ss out of employees.

    Pretty clear stipulation, so in most cases employers aren't unfairly on the hook for hiring someone that lives an hour away from the office.
