    Buying a chromebook for a student? Which is better please? SSD, eMMC or none?

    Sorry, I don't really understand the question. How is there a none option?

    We have an Acer C720 (4G variant) and a lenovo somethingorother. The lenovo is for my son and the Acer for the rest of us. The Acer is my top tech buy in the last 3 years. It runs a linux chroot with ease. For a student it depends on the use case, but are you just asking about the storage?

    Just go SSD IMO, largest one you can afford.

    An emmc will be more expensive whereas the speeds won't be proportionally higher.
