I went to the dentist mid May and got a filling.
It was very sore for a few days and it looked like there was a little chip out of the tooth.
So I rang up and went in and she filled in the little hole (I presume an error on her behalf)
It hasn't felt right since and now I can't chew on that side of my mouth!
If I go back to the dentist, will I be charged again?!

All depends on what's causing the pain.
A crack/fracture in the filling/tooth, a dying nerve, an abscess, gum disease, grinding, trauma? Anything could have happened in 4 months.
You'll probably need an xray in order to aid the diagnosis.

Devastated, but the tooth is visible so need it!
Going in next Wednesday for the root canal.
