Tooth giving terrible problems..

    I went to the dentist mid May and got a filling.
    It was very sore for a few days and it looked like there was a little chip out of the tooth.
    So I rang up and went in and she filled in the little hole (I presume an error on her behalf)
    It hasn't felt right since and now I can't chew on that side of my mouth!
    If I go back to the dentist, will I be charged again?!

    All depends on what's causing the pain.
    A crack/fracture in the filling/tooth, a dying nerve, an abscess, gum disease, grinding, trauma? Anything could have happened in 4 months.
    You'll probably need an xray in order to aid the diagnosis.

    Went to the dentist today, got an xray.. have to get a root canal. :(
    Devastated, but the tooth is visible so need it!
    Going in next Wednesday for the root canal.
