Ali Express Xiaomi sales on today.

Ali Express currently have a sale on for a number of Xiaomi products today only.
These include the Mi 4i, MiPad, Pistons 3rd gen and MiBand. There's also a camera, smart scales, a couple of power banks and some sort of smart home device.
I bought the Pistons myself as some audio reviewers reckon they are the business and beat anything under 100 quid, they are currently less than 15 euro.
I also heard good things about the MiBand which is also very cheap, free postage as well.
Just in case anyone's interested.
(Be careful not to buy the power strip as it does not appear to support our plugs)

I would only buy Pistons from authorised sellers. The market is flooded with fakes. The originals are cheap enough from authorised sellers like ibuygou.com

Bought the miband. Was look at it last week while buying my redmi note 2, turning into a real xiaomi fan, even though I've not received any of it yet!

It is advertised on Ali Express main page and they are reputable as far as I can see. All the reviews seem very positive but I will tell you how I got on.

I'd be wary of them. It says that they are version 2, but this version has been discontinued for quite a while now. It also says that it has a 1.2m cable, but AFAIK the ver 2 model had a 1m cable.

I have a set of the real ones anyways, so was hoping they weren't authentic as paid closer to $20 for them anyways not too long ago.

The Pistons 2.1 are brilliant earphones. There's plenty of reviews for them all over the net. Just make sure you get them from authorised reseller.

Here's another interesting set of "Chi-Fi" earphones - the E300s. They have a different soundstage to the Pistons. I find they are a bit better in the mids than the pistons, but overall prefer the Pistons. The E300s also don't have any phone controls.

Also the Ali Express link has been posted for this sale, just go to sale page and you will find discounted products. I am confident they are real as the seller has excellent reviews all claiming they are genuine plus it is on the main Ali Express page.

Bought one before and could never get it to work.

There meant to have a major software flaw not connecting to phones.

Just in relation to shipping- is there no way to improve the delivery service? At this price I'm more then happy to pay a few quid more and get it faster.

You could use Parcel Motel for an extra 3.95 if you are close to a locker. Shipping from China to the UK is a lot quicker than to Ireland due to increased trading routes

Little tip ive found with aliexpress over the last year or 2 (could just be coincidence), was to add stuff to your cart or wishlist, and a week later or so id usually see a 5-10% discount on the item. Again, could be coincidence, but I noticed this when I was hesitant about buying something. I tested it out once and sure enough I got a few % off. For those who are extra tight/not in a rush.

Thanks for that. But we're still talking over a month? I'd pay around a tenner to have it by the end of next week.
