Myself and a friend are heading over to Cardiff for the Ireland Canada game on sat 19th sept. We are flying over on Friday and back Sunday! However all accom is very expensive and we have tried airbnb as well.

Any ideas on wer to look for cheap accom? As long as we have a bed we don't mind the rest

A lot of people are staying in Bristol and getting the train in to Cardiff, it's only an hour or so I believe

Don't look in Cardiff.
Seriously. It's way too small for a stadium the size of the Millennium. The only chance you have, if you don't already drive a gold plated Rolls Royce, is to prevail upon a friend or relative who lives in the city to let you crash on their floor.

And if you have a gold-plated Rolls Royce, bring it over on the ferry and crash in it.

We stayed in Canton Rugby Club over the weekend. Very Friendly and only looked for £20 for parking for a packed 6 berth camper van for the night. Provided showers, breakfast (Cereal / Toast) I genuinely think if your going to Cardiff in numbers of two or less just park up your car in a club like Canton. Push the two seats back and you'll be fine. Bring a pillow and a duvet.
