Anyone in the know know anything about Delta operating direct flights to Vegas from Dublin for the Conor McGregor flight? Im searching on line and have found flights DL405 (Outbound) and DL404 (Inbound) direct but cant seem to find any mention of it online anywhere. Ive attached a link to the picture as it wont let me embed it to the post.

Delta 404 is a flight from JFK to Seattle.
Delta 405 is a flight from Accra to JFK.

So no idea where that info is coming from.

It's a deception that the US airlines do regularly to trick searches into putting them on top if the list. Direct is not Nonstop. The airline re-uses an international flight number on a connecting domestic flight and make it look like it's either nonstop or at least the same plane making one stop en-route. So 405 will be Dublin-JFK and 405 will also be JFK-Vegas, on a different plane.

The times alone should be a giveaway. It doesn't take 21 hours (13 + 8 time zone) to get from Dublin to Vegas. Ethiopian get to LAX (which is further) in 11.

Good point, to be honest I never even looked at the arrival time, just departure
