Galway hospital is one very busy hospital for helicopter tasking, yesterday the Air Corps 112 helicopter was in twice, the Coastguard helicopter from Sligo Rescue 118 was in and at midnight the Dublin helicopter Rescue 116 was in. Hardly a day goes by without a helicopter landing there, Rescue 118 and 112 have arrived together on a number of occasions and Rescue 115 and Rescue 116 arrived together and were a real traffic stopper with two large helicopters on the ground near each other. What a great life saving service we have with both the Air Corps and the Coastguard.
