    Hello

I'll be in Zurich and Liechtenstein at the end of October. Any recommendations on what to do? I'm up for anything. Love museums, food, exploring, music and drinks.

    Thanks :D

Whenever people talk about Zurich, they typically mention getting out to explore the mountains and lakes of Switzerland. The city is OK and fun to explore for a couple of days. I found it to be a lovely business-friendly city setting, but the food in my opinion was average and expensive. There are a few hikes around the lake and up into the hills.

For some ideas for things to do in the city I recommend these blog posts:

From Zurich you can easily travel by train to Lucerne even for one day (extremely popular tourist destination on the lake) or travel to Interlaken and explore the towns in the spectacular mountains by cable car and gondola. The Rick Steves book on Switzerland is an excellent resource if you have the time for more than a city-break.
