mondeo stereo

    hi ive a 2004 mondeo. just bought it. ive been working on it and disconected the battery. so the stereo needed the 4 digit code. then the vehicle id number which i guessed was the long letters/numbers on vin plate. all accepted but still no sound. any help would be great thnx

    no sound with anything. ive tried pressing 6 and 3 on stereo and all speakers work

    By the description you give the stereo has a very rare fault . I repair stereos full time ...the output stage is working since 6 /3 give you the audio test.
    I would like to know the model and part no. of the radio. Would it be possible for you to post a picture of the label from the side of the radio.
