Last time I broke a Telly

When did you break a telly last?
I "overused" the on off button on my parents TV and it cost 44 punts.
Years later though, I bought my parents a new LCD telly with bigger screen.
I haven't broken a telly as an adult either.
What did you do to break a telly?

Foolishly tripped on the cord of a small telly, sadly it caused the casing to come away. My brother and I were using it for Nintendo... disastrous!

Incidentally it would seem that even if you have a broken telly you need to have a TV Licence here in Ireland... curious! :)

I threw a PS3 Controller by mistake and it bounced and hit my TV screen smashing the screen. It was only a few weeks old too. Gutted

Just when you think after hours can't get any worse - up jumps a thread to surprise you.

I used to be a bit of big deal in the music biz but it was getting to me and so I faked my own death so I could take a break.

Well right before that, I shot one.

Ah, the fun of pre-interweb days and watching late-night "art" movies :pac:

This is getting so bad, I'm even tempted to talk to the pain in the hole who sits beside me at work

    Is this serious?

i read the OP and i think it might be.

if so, this is one of the worst ideas for a thread i've ever seen!!! there's nothing about it i like. who cares who broke a telly in their lives!?
