Vokera mynute 16e locking out

    Hi all,
I have a problem in that my gas boiler a Vokera mynute 16e is continually locking out.
Either on manual or timer the boiler will fire for about 5 or 10 seconds and then cut off with the red light flashing. It will try again after a short pause for about 5 or 10 seconds with the same result. After a longer wait it often tries again, sometimes firing for longer, maybe for 30 seconds before cutting out.
I have tried resetting dozens of times without any success - the pump seems to be working when the boiler fires, but something is causing the cut off before the water gets hot.
Pressure gauge is at about 0.5 bar when at first firing, and gets up to about 0.7-0.8 bar after firing for 30 seconds, but that's as far as we get.
I'm competent with minor electrical work, wiring, etc. but don't have any experience with boilers or PCBs for that matter.
I suspect that it is a control issuing but beyond that I'm only guessing, does anyone have any ideas for an easy / quick fix or is it time to call out the professionals ?
Any help or advice would be gratefully received - I need to get it sorted before the cold weather kicks in.

Time to call in the professionals. I've an idea myself what's wrong with it but I wouldn't be allowed to say here on a public forum.
There is a part gone on the boiler. Your probably looking at a cost of 180 to 200 have it repaired.

I thought so, but it was worth asking, sometimes these things just need a bit of tinkering with.
Thanks for the advice - I'll ring around a few numbers I've got see if they can take a look.
If I get no luck with them is there a contacts board on this forum for engineers via pm or is that not allowed on here ?

    Recommendations are allowed by P.M.
If you say what area you are in, then someone should be able to point you in the right direction.
