    The router we have for UPC Broadband is ancient.
    Can someone recommend a long range router supported by UPC?

    You're likely on older connection with a very old modem. Get them to check your bundle!

    Yep. Must be on 30mb now.

    That said, wireless N won't do any good for your range and you will still need to shell out for your own equipment.
