Have on of these in 2 hours or so, is there anything I need to watch out for, inspector said he was going to walk land and needed 20 sheep in to check tags against register

Anything else I should be prepared for??

land eligibility will be the big thing on the walk but there's nothing to be done about this

maybe paperwork checks if you meet a rotten inspector

good luck & let us know how it goes

good luck, but I taught a lot of this type of thing was done at a desk by aerial imaging now and cut out the need for physical inspections..rushes may be a point of discussion, and that all your land is eligible and "grazable"

He's just gone, he read a sample of the flock with eid tags with his new wand and checked numbers against register to see if it matched census

He then checked all the land using his gps equipment where I lost some land and gained some land and won't know where I stand until he posts info out to me

Have to say he wasn't the worst inspector I had

Another department offical took 20 bloods for scrapie and brucecilosis this morning as well as part of seperate inspection

It was a busy night writing up the register last night that's for sure!

All good so, sounds like he was decent enough, there's talk of a few sticky characters knockin about Roscommon giving out about rushes, now I'd be all for stopping men claiming on gorse and heather filled scrub land but penalising a few auld fellas over rushes on their land is a bit tough considering how appalling trafficability was this summer round here and how the land itself is "disadvantaged" by nature.
