Have a gig coming up I want to record both audio and visual. smallish room holds about 100 people, am in control of the room so can have multi camera placement.

I can take either an audio or a firewire feed from the desk if I need to but hoping the camera might be good enough to save mixing after. It will be only for home review after.

How would you do it, what would you use? dont mind renting something or buying second hand within reason.

If it's not for anything in particular and you've for a good camera, just use that.
