Disability allowance and working part/full time

    hi all,,

I am currently looking into employment but I receive a disability allowance payment each week, a monthly blind welfare supplement and have a full medical card due to my vision impairment.

I looked up some info on citizens advice but I would like to hear from others who have first hand experience with this. What kind of documentation do you need to submit to the social welfare upon getting a new job and does your payment go vastly down if you are on a basic wage? How does it affect your medical card status? Will your workplace have to sign anything? What happens when if you quit your job? Will your disability get reinstated to the full amount once you inform them?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
