Technology seems to be finding new stuff almost every week where the Wiltshire landscape is concerned. This, in my view, can only not only increase our knowledge of the area, but put up even more tantalising questions that are completely unanswerable in any modern context.

We can surmise, but never know, what actually took place there, and one man's theory is as good as another's.
