Deal almost done on a lovely commercial jeep 😊😊. Part of the deal is that seller taxes it for 12 months for us to give us time to get our affairs in order. My query is this..the jeep is taxed till end of 10/15 can this vehicle be taxed now for 12 months or will seller have to wait till 1/10?? No tax no deal..

Why not just take the cost of the tax off the price? You can tax it online when the time comes then.

Maybe the op lives where their county council asks for proof of self employment from revenue or employed and that it is used for commercial use. Op may not be using their vehicle for commercial use.
