My friend brought her irish car to Scotland and transfered it into a Scottish reg, she's now giving me the car (chuffed) but any idea about changing it back to an Irish reg it's a Renault grand scenic 05, thanks

    Should be simple enough.
Just book the VRT inspection, bring the V5C and they will assign the old Irish reg number and enter car into the system again.
    Should not cost you anything.
You will just need to get Irish plates for it, pay motortax, obtain insurance and book NCT.
