04 Mk5 Golf Power Steering

    Hi quick question I have a 04 Mk5 golf and was driving to Dublin yesterday. I noticed the power steering light came on after a while and the steering got a small bit tight. It changed a few times from amber to red. Started the car today and it's gone off and steering seems to be back to normal. It done this one before a few months back for about 10 minutes as well. Any ideas whats up with it and should I get it seen to?
