Yep, was in the news last week. Found her ok on fully charged. Will be interesting to see how she is on her own and what type of show it'll be. Will it just be non stop music or will she have bits in between, interviews etc. Fair play to her.

I struggled to warm to her and Ryan on that show. She tried telly a few weeks ago on a couple of shows including xpose and she seemed really uncomfortable. Don't think she's great to be honest but I'll reserve judgement till I hear her show.

I never heard of this lady until she was announced by 2fm last week but she must be good at what she does to get parachuted into a prime time slot rather than been started off on weekends or late nights.

She presented the morning show on spin which was aimed at the younger market. As I have said was never a massive fan of hers but if its a music show with small pieces she might do well. Never seemed comfortable in interviews IMO

2fm is becoming utterly unlistenable to. If Lottie Ryan is their gage of what presenters should be .... enough said.

Tracy was fine as a co-presenter but driving a show solo is a different game.

2fm just wants to be a national Spin, that's exactly where they are going to.

No disrespect but you dont replace a Rick O Shea with a Tracey Clifford. You replace a Rick O Shea with a household name. Ray Foley would have been a better option. He's got a bigger porfolio. It will fail like all the other stupid decisions that have been made.

Quite disrespectful to her ability as a broadcaster to be fair

Why didn't they start her national career on a late night programme. I mean the big question is will advert agents be happy. They come first, the listeners come a distant second.

Foley had his chance at national radio and he didn't set the world alight

Ray Foley was good on Today FM when he had that guy J.P and Ann Gleeson. She's still there.

WAS, see you just answered your own question. His number was average at best and he went back to a regional station, he's nothing special.

I will bow to your superior knowledge if I am wrong but I thought Foley was very succesful on Today FM. I dont know his numbers but im pretty sure he won a good few awards around that time.

Awards...............PPI wow the signature of a good program:D

But once again he left a national station to go back to a regional. Ok so did KC but that was for family reasons.

I just think he had his chance, he did nothing special so move on. I don't bare him any ill will just that he was there and if he was as good as was believed then Today FM would have kept him on............they didn't

He had the highest listenership with The Blast at that time slot and it hasn't been reached since he left, he had the highest listenership at lunchtime which hasn't been beaten since he left? He left the show by choice after about 6 years at the same slot with nowhere else to move to within the station and went to breakfast which is the most prestigious slot on radio really. He said before he turned down 2fm a few times, as recently as two years ago I think. He would be one of the few radio presenters my friends know who aren't invested in radio.

I don't agree with what you said really, and I don't think you can say someone who had two rating winners wasn't successful can you?

Can Tracey at least do a show on 2FM before the judging starts on her?

    She starts Monday @ 1

Yeah I listened to her for about an hour and thought she was grand. The 2fm imaging badly needs a revamp tho, that horrible nicky Byrne show imaging especially gives me an awful headache.

give it 2-3 weeks and they will have a 'wacky' sidekick in beside her. laughing at jokes that are not funny and reading bits out of the daily papers that everyone has read 4 hours before that. you know the usual type of thing. (cringe)

Good show yesterday, I remember when she was on Hot 99.4 in 2002, then Spin.

its pretty fluffy stuff, really it could be any random person in there and i wouldn't know the difference. pretty poor. rather listen to dermot and dave and have a bit of craic.

Give her a chance for flip sake.

Until a few weeks ago I bad never heard of her, but catching her at lunchtime the last two days I'm liking what I'm hearing.

Very surprised she’s pushing 40. Comes across on air as 28/29 year old

never liked her on spin, still don't like her on 2fm, but someone sees something in her.
