I bought a cheap €99 Samsung phone in Argos last week and it developed a strange hue on the screen. Can I bring it back and just get a refund or do I have to accept a replacement phone? To be honest Ive seen better deals online with better phones and want to take advantage of it since this phone developed a fault.

    Thanks

If it's faulty you can bring it back and get a repair, replacement or, if neither are feasible, a refund. Generally if there's no fault you have no rights but you may be in luck, according to the Argos website it seems the phone may not be excluded from their 30 day money back guarantee.

I've noticed that some phones are not excluded from the 30 day return policy yet most are. I wonder why that is?
