postgrad primary teaching via distance learning uk

    Hi
    i am interested in becoming a primary school teacher and would love feedback in relation to the following?
    What uk college offers distance learning
    Can you do school placements in eire if not how many weeks placement are required.
    i have a family so can not attend uk full time.

    i do not have honours irish so therefore hibernia is not an option i intend doing irish exam after qualifying.

    Even if distance learning is available from UK universities, surely you would have a supervisor/inspector visiting you in a school. UK supervisors are not going to travel to Ireland to do that. Also I presume they would be working with the curriculum offered in the UK, not Ireland. I can't honestly see how this would work, unless you live close to the Northern Ireland border and did your teaching practice in a Northern Ireland school, if a distance learning course was offered by Queens or University of Ulster.

    It would be far easier for you to get your Irish qualification this year and do Hibernia next year I reckon.
