How does one go about this? Exec. is not fulfilling any duties and also causing long delays in probate.

Is the executor responsive or incommunicado?

To be honest - who knows. My family are caught in a similar battle. An executor who in writing and to all parties stated their belief that the terms of a will were not as beneficial to them as they deserved. Two and a half years of obstruction, repeated and baseless legal-sounding objections and covert suggestions through third parties that a significant monetary transfer would sort things out and they are no closer to removing this person.

So, all I can say is good luck. Log everything and make sure you are engaging a qualified legal representative beside the one who is administering the will.
