so I was thinking of getting the EOS M3 however, from doing a good bit of research online, it would appear that the Fuji XT1 seems like a great mirror less camera.

Just wanted opinions from users on here who have had an xt1 and see what they think of it?

I like the size, the feature set seems amazing and the EVF is supposedly fantastic. Any cons to the camera people have faced? Would love your opinions and experiences on here.

    Thanks,

    O

I love it. Really do. It feels great in your hands, it's intuitive to use (particularly with xf lenses with aperture rings). the wi-go can be a bit awkward to use until you get the sequence you need to use down. The Fuji lens range is great.

The main downer is autofocus, but only if you're looking to shoot say birds in flight or sports- even then it's hit and miss since the new firmware update 4.0, which was a massive step forward.

Don't forget the X-T10 more or less the same features as the X-T1 but slightly smaller.

Thanks for the replies guys, I just thought I'd update this thread.

I ended up selling my Canon gear and switching over to the Fuji XT1. I'm coming from a 5DMKII with 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 F4 set up and so far, I am really impressed with what this camera can do.

I am an amateur, I just enjoy taking photos and probably found that the 5DII was probably overkill for my needs. It was also heavy and I found more times than not that I wouldn't bother taking it out with me.

With the XT1, I went on a recent trip to London and found it just perfect, I had a small camera bag and used the kit lense primarily and the shots I got were superb.

I love the dials on the camera to control the shutter speed, ISO and aperture, at first, switching over from Canon was a bit daunting but after a few trips out with it, I haven't looked back.

I'd highly recommend this camera to anyone in a similar position!

I'm glad you're enjoying it! I'm still loving it I gotta say, I wouldn't go back for all the world.
