    Didn't get out my self yet normally the first few days are good ones for us plenty mallard do be around I shoot in Wexford myself were do every one else shoot do u get much ducks flying in and out ?

    I've not been out yet but reports from around the midlands have been mixed. On the midlands large lakes the trend of lower numbers of birds in the bag over the past few years for the opening morning has not yet been bucked.

    Off topic...Just wondering what size/weight shell is optimal for a day on a driven duck shoot, might yet treat myself to a couple of days on a shoot?
