is this white box which when i turn on the tap the water flows out of the hole on top of the box and smells like sewerage.

    Any information is appreciated thanks.

It looks like a Saniflo or something similar. It basically pumps sewage or waste water in areas where normal waste pipes can't be used

    Thanks.

Any idea if it can be fixed or how much a similare replacement would cost?

The water just pours out the hole on top when the tap is on.

Try find a brand name on it. Then ring the manufacturers and see if they have service agents. I know Grundfos and Saniflo do but your machine could be different

Is it pluged in to electric supply ?

It needs electricty to work. Or the propeller / shreader might be just stuck.from lack of use.
    Call plumber.
