That is the pre facelift with the older vvti engine. Tax is €570 on that car. It was only €385 pre July 08 on the cc system.

The facelift was out in 2010 also and came with the newer and better 1.33 dual vvti engine. It has lower emmisions and is €280 to tax. The interior is an improvement too. If looking for an auris of that vintage it would be better to get the facelift imo.

That particular car is a base Terra model with the older petrol engine and which is a terrible place to be in.

You can get pre facelifted UK models from 2009 with the newer 1.33 litre dual VVTi engine. UK spec TR model is higher spec than the Irish Luna model too. 1.33 litre is more powerful and more fuel efficent than the older 1.4 litre, it is also only €280 to tax.

My father has a UK pre facelift 1.33 litre TR one like this:

The facelift also addresses some of the glaring qualit issues too. I'd hold out for one of those if you must get an auris.
Toyota Ireland had stockpiles of these from 2008. They totally underestimated the popularity of diesel and delayed launching the facelift in Ireland till they shifted them. They came out in the UK in 09.
