No train, beyond a joke

Was meant to be getting the 20.06 train from Sixmilebridge to Galway, transferring in Galway to Athlone at 22.15. The Sixmilebridge train never showed up. No one to answer phones at any of the offices. I'm left stranded at the station with €29.20 down the drain from prebooked tickets. No information about delays etc online, I was here 15 minutes early and the announcement was made saying the next train was the Galway train blah blah. How do I go about complaining?

I mean officially. I'm left out of pocket and more importantly I'm not where I'm supposed to be right now.

Unusual if a train is cancelled and no notice of same comes up on one of other of the Irish Rail website, Facebook page or Twitter account. Have you contacted them since to find out what happened?

Unless the train originates to/from Dublin you will unlikely get notice of such disruption.

In saying that there is no excuse that IE can put forward since WRC is connected to control center in Athlone.

OP make sure you include that the WRC is connected to control when submitting a form.
