    Hi,

I just got an interview for a fashion manager in Dunnes. I was doing a little research and previous posts on here paint a very bad picture of managers in Dunnes, 50-60 hour weeks, low pay, moving constantly. They were from about 3-4 years ago and I was just wondering if this is still the case??

Does anyone have experience or know anyone in this kind of position? The main issue I'd have would be moving constantly as I naively thought I would be working in the one store permanently.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Have been working in Dunnes for 4 years. We do (minimum) 43 hours a week. Have been getting a steady increase every year. I have only ever worked in one store but have covered other stores when mangers are on holidays.

Work is tough enough. Given very little hours for staff and regional mangers expect miracles.

Make sure you ask for "Dublin only contract" or wherever you are based.
