hey,Has anybody ever got into DCU using a fetac course,Im doing laboratory techniques (level 5) with the hope of getting into sport science and health.

I feel I would probably need all distinctions to even stand a chance of getting in,Would love to hear from people who have used their fetac course to get into DCU!

I got into Law & Society this year with a Fetac Level 5 in Office Admin. For most courses you'll need all distinctions to have a chance of getting in. There's a certain amount of Fetac places in each course and the people with the top grades get in. If there's too many people with all distinctions, they basically choose a few at random.

    Hi,

I got into International Relations through 5 distinctions at Level 5 Business With Computers. But most of the courses require the minimum 5 distinctions, with distinctions in mandatory subjects. This is particularly true for scientific courses. You should check out quailfax dot ie. This website has great info and advice.

I got in to business with my PLC course. I needed 5 distinctions . Just make sure you meet all the requirements I had to do repeat leaving maths too.
