Taking on a couple of short priced favs so a bit of risk involved but hopefully its a risk worth taking.

    GOATHLAND 10/3 2.00 haydock
I pointed out Peter Chapple Hyam's record at newcastle on monday and all 3 runners duly obliged. He also had a winner yesterday with his only runner making it now 4 out of 4 and GOATHLAND is his only runner today. Hes had a break of 199 days having been gelded hence the risk involved but is upped in trip which will suit. The fav is too short for me and i dont believe there is any more improvement left in his locker so im hoping the record goes to 5 out of 5
    2 pts win

The other risk is VEXILLUM 13/2 4.55 sedgefield.
Trainer Neil Mullholland has a 42% strike rate at this track 5 wins from 12 rides and Noel Fehilly comes for the one ride.
Ran a much improved effort LTO finishing 3rd to Grames and Ounces who won again next time out. Again the fav looks too short to me.

Interesting to see that Richard Johnson takes the ride on Duroob in the last at Sedgefield. This one is as slow as a boat, but it always stays on gamely at the close. Imagine Anthony McCann isn't sending this one over for no reason and under the Johnson drive, this one should finish well. 13/2 BetVictor

Just a heads up money back as a free bet upto €25 on Gothlands race on PP if you want extra insurance.

Be careful that is only money back if second to the sp favourite, which is a vastly different off to the money back if second offer that was on in August which was a cracking offer.

As it happen it worked out in Goathlands race and was probably a decent race foe the current offer but it's hard enough to get the fav to win but also pick the second is few and far between.

Totally agree, I have been ignoring it after reading the small print, first impression is that it would be similar to the old offer, it's a bit of a con really

Not a sniff of a winner last day or two gonna chance Deluxe for Pat Phelan again in the last at Salisbury 14-1 ew.

I was lucky to discover it was back on by accident, after getting a second to an SP fav. I suppose, if you were unsure as to a clear fav, most would no doubt make the e/w bet rather than the money back bet....

Not one of PP better offers...

It's not as good as the last one but it's still a decent offer, especially if you're someone who likes to take on favs.

Just home from work and looking around at results and then come here and see you've tipped a tasty win. Well played!
