History Project?

So I've just started LC history, and I'm really unsure, what project to do. I'm just wondering, would it be good to do it on someone unusual like Jesse Owens, or on my great great uncle, who was part of 'Sligo's notorious 6' in the Civil War? Which project sounds better?

The latter is definitely the better one,you're on to a winner with a project with has local and national significance as well as having a family link!
