Once the card has a Visa or Mastercard symbol, you can use it on any ATM there with that symbol.

It's advisable to let them know in advance that you are travelling.

Notify them you'll be abroad and the location, you should be able to do it online. The only con really is that there'll be a charge when you use machines abroad but that'll only be a few euro anyway so it's grand, beats having to exchange money in a bank and carry it and worry about it beforehand.

Since it's a stag, I'd advise you to do your research on strip clubs etc. before you leave, if you're gonna be going to that sort of sh!te, rather than being robed in by the dirty kunts working on the streets that'll more than likely be looking to take advantage of a group of drunk lads.

Both times I've been there I've had issues with me BOI card. The first was nearly 10 years ago, and more recently last October. Both times the bank was notified, both times ATM said no. Thankfully card machines in shops worked fine.
