Hi folks, maybe a silly question, but can you use a grill/griddle pan on a ceramic hob or do you need a flame?

Also, how much would one need to spend on one? I see in Argos, the price varies from 11e - 69e

    thanks in advance

Any type of pot or pan works on ceramic.
It's only induction hobs need specific pans.

I bought a Le Creuset cast iron griddle pan in TK max a no of yrs ago - reduced from about E90 down to about E50. Cast iron can be used on all hob types and is very robust. I use the pan a lot and looks as good as the day I bought it. As for any cooking accessories go for the best you can afford and they will last a long time.
