curious as to what lights people use with aero seatposts? or if they mount them elsewhere to save hassle!

I have mine mounted on the seat stay above the rear brake calliper.

Alternatively if you have a saddle bag clip it on there.

Im planning on buying a Moon LX70 soon. (make that was planning)

Topeak and Lezyne have solutions for aero posts too but I think the Moon unit is the brightest of the lot.

Edit: I just checked and it turns out lezyne have a "pro" version of the aero unit too which looks pretty decent http://www.lezyne.com/product-led-sport-strippro.php#.VebyxyVViko

I think that one you've linked is more of an aero light as opposed to one designed to fit an aero seat post. It wouldn't go around my seat post as it's roughly 50mm deep to a bladed edge.

    Maybe so.

But it does fit a Madone seat post

the road.cc review at the bottom suggests it should fit aero posts
"Lezyne has introduced a new range of Strip Drive front and rear lights that can fit any shape of handlebar or seatpost, including aero options."

i'd have assumed it was just a case of adjusting the notch on the strap? i have similar straps for my current lezyne lights

I've a fizik saddle now with integrated saddle bag which has a fabric clip I've a second light attached to so does the job.

That light you've linked is nice and neat though.
