Any know if cleaning the venturi tubes in a gas boiler is part of a boiler service or an extra job, my Vokera is showing a 03 error & I'm told the venturi assembly needs a good cleaning.

I would see it as part of servicing.

Thanks,..energia are offering me a boiler service for €79, I'll ask them the direct question about venturi cleaning & decide from there.

    From a Vokera manual (28/35 e)

I actually have that manual, thanks, I'm waiting for energia to call me back about the venturi cleaning, fingers crossed ;)
    ***UPDATE***
I just had a call back from Energia, they contacted the engineer covering my area D7 & he said cleaning the venturi is not part of their service,......another 'only in Ireland' story

Then get somebody who will clean it as part of the service. It's a simple job in fairness.

found a guy RGI registered, spoke with him & he's familiar with the problem.

It's a required part of a service, the manufacturer states so!

Yes I know, the boiler service industry in Ireland leaves a lot to be desired, I've also informed energia of the manufacturers
    recommendations regarding ROUTINE ANNUAL SERVICING.
