Truss Roof - Windows

    Hi,

I was wondering is there a way to put wide velux windows into a Truss Roof and keep it structurally sound?

As per the pics attached, the gap between the trusses is about 600mm but we were hoping to put in wider windows than this.

If it is a case that we wouldn't be able to get a structural engineer to sign off on the trusses being cut we will make do with the narrower windows.

    Thanks

Grand no bother. Was just wondering if it could be done or not before getting a structural engineer involved.
