Looking for advise on getting a sound bike for value in Ireland...Used to live overseas and had a merrida Warrior, i forget the model, but it was a bike that got me back into cycling again...picked it up for about 100 euro...
it was some years old, maybe 5...now im looking for something here of simular quality...

front shocks, tyres for off road, adjustable shock?little switch to turn off shock or set it/

will be used for cycles of 10-15 k...i abhorr road bikes with tiny tyres....any ideas or links, even better?

Do you actually need a proper mountain bike, or just anything but a road bike?

If you're not actually planning on going proper off-road then some form of hybrid would probably be better. More comfortable than a road bike but faster on tarmac than a mountain bike.

+1. I moved from MB to hybrid five years ago and the difference is huge in tyre drag, weight and comfort.
