Horrible low frequency very loud aircraft noise over Sutton this morning at c. 5:10am - does anyone know what it might have been? It seemed to be doing circles around the area, don't think I've heard anything like it before.

Would love to know what it was and if it be at the Portrush Airshow this weekend??

I would expect that this was one of the inbound A330's from the US. Airshow aircraft would not need to be airbourne at that time

Between 4:50 and 5:10 this morn an Ethopian , a 767 freighter and three AL 330s landed. Winds at 2000ft were from the north, cloud free so as they turned to join final approach the noise foot print would certainly have had an impact on Sutton as they configured to land.
