Move a red robin

I have a red robin about 5 foot high 5foot wide.i was thinking of moving it to another area.is this time of year a suitable time.

I'd leave it another month. Trim back the new growth before you move it and get as big a rootball as you can, dropping it directly into a ready prepared hole.
