Legal Advice - Labour Dispute

I was wondering if somebody with some legal knowledge could help me or point me in the direction of where I might be able to get some more information.

First I'll give you some background on the case which happens to be on RTE at the moment:

The claim goes back to 2009, when Bank of Ireland paid a 3.5% national wage round to around 6,000 staff - but withheld it from 500 employees in subsidiary New Ireland Assurance, which had changed to a performance related pay system in 2001.

Unite subsequently took over 200 individual claims to the Rights Commissioners which threatened to clog up the entire dispute resolution system.

Eventually, talks were set up overseen by mediator Mark Connaughton SC. He has now brokered a deal to resolve the six year row.

I'm a former employee of New Ireland Assurance having just left employment a little less than twelve months ago. I was not part of the union or the 200 members who's claims were brought to the rights commissioner.

I was wondering if legally this is something I should pursue independently as an ex employee who would have worked under the exact same conditions, and if it is something I may be entitled to pursue how would I go about doing so?
