Which Bord Gais deal would you pick?

Been with Airtricity for 24months on Smart Saver Std 24h plan (no night meter).
    Paid €43/mo in 2013, now paying €105/mo.

Received the €75 Tesco giftcard offer plus 10% off electricity for 12 months (offer is valid through September 6th) and thought of switching to Bord Gais. Checked bonkers.ie, found that they offer an exclusive deal for Bord Gais (that is not available through Bord Gais themselves, only through bonkers.ie) of 16% off electricity for the same term (no other perks). So..

Assuming it is worth switching from Airtricity to Bord Gais, is the 16% deal the one to go for?

You really need the unit costs and standing charge details to compare. % discount is meaningless as it refers to standard rates that seldom are applied by any supplier.

Got it. Judging by the last bill, 16.14c is the unit rate, and 39.23c is the standing charge (ex VAT). Bord Gais offers a unit rate of 13.55c and a standing charge of €132 (ex VAT).
