How's it going, last month I came off my 06 SV650S which I bought almost a year ago for €2900. The right fairings have received a lot of cosmetic damage and there is damage to the indicators, rear brake lever and possibly exhaust can.
I'm considering selling as I need a car, is it worth repairing or should I sell as is? Any help is greatly appreciated. Can add pics later if needed

The fairings are the most expensive things to fix, if not cracked or broken I would look at getting them buffed out. The other stuff is easily fixed....I would be inclined to repair it providing the fairings are not too bad.

Plus its coming to the end of the best time to sell a bike TBH....

Thanks for the reply. The fairings would need respraying which is my main concern as its not cheap and I'm unsure if it'll pay off, but I agree with sorting the rest out myself.

One option could be wrapping the bike instead of painting it, maybe sand the scratches down. Tends to work out quite cheap if you DIY, although a heatgun comes in handy.

How much would you be looking for it, and do you have photos of the extent of the damage?.

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
